​Phil’s role with Gambia Birding Tours is purely operational. With his knowledge of the people, the routes and the accommodation, Phil ensures every element of the tour is kept to the highest standards for our customers.

Phil is a highly successful british businessman with over 40 years experience. He set up the Morgan Clark Foundation (a UK registered charity) on his 60th birthday back in 2009 to help the people of Gambia. The foundation built a school near the Baobolong in the North Bank region, which today caters for over 300 people. In recent years, Phil and the Foundation have become heavily involved in supporting the development of healthcare and midwifery in the region.
